Short Description: Director of Retail Systems Banking. To operate as Practice Director of automated retail banking systems for a Tier 1 Consultancy/systems provider. Predominantly focussed on speech recognition, predictive dialling and automating retail banking systems.
Summary of Role: The Practice Director will be responsible for selling a portfolio of solutions which integrate customer experience and security to our blueprint and focus accounts within retail financial services.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: The director will work with our client Account Executives and portfolio solution executives to provide expertise in positioning our solutions to Senior Buyers, to manage opportunities through to order closure and to work with our delivery organisation to ensure the project is delivered on time to contracted gross margin. He or she will liase with global solution development, alliance management, marketing and sales to ensure our solutions are compelling and help to increase our long term share of spend within key accounts. It is envisaged that these solutions will demonstrate sales of $5m in 2008 and $50m in 2009.
Functional/Technical Skills: This individual contributor will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Retail Banking solutions, including how those solutions can provide significant cost savings, and revenue growth for our clients. The ideal candidate would have senior management experience of implementing similar solutions and the appropriate mixture of technical depth and business acumen to properly align technological capabilities to address real world business challenges. Required: - Proven expertise in managing and delivering change programs - Experience in creating and documenting business cases to justify technology expenditures - Significant IT management experience (as Director or above) supporting large scale projects/environment - Expertise in predictive profiling, speech recognition, automating retail banking systems, security - Strong understanding of security / fraud manangement best practice - Experience creating and delivering presentations to large groups of senior business leaders; - Experience working with clients while following standard sales processes Interactions: - Demonstrate the ability to managed and developed internal and external client relationships and operate at a strategic level - Excellent communication and presentation skills VMR Consultants are specialist recruiters of IT Specialists and are acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
